Note: Not suitable for sliding doors, garage doors, or doors with very thick bottom rails (>1-3/4"). Measure your door bottom clearance before installation to ensure at least 1/4"–1/2" space for proper fit.

Installation Guide

Installation is straightforward and requires only basic tools:

1. Measure & Trim (if needed): If your door is narrower than 36", cut the seal to size with a hacksaw or utility knife.
2. Position Seal: Place the U-shape over the bottom edge of the door (door removed or open for easier access).
3. Align & Mark: Slide the seal up or down so it makes light contact with the threshold when the door is closed.
4. Mark Screw Holes: Use a pencil to mark screw positions through the slotted holes.
5. Drill Pilot Holes: Drill small pilot holes to prevent splitting (especially on wood doors).
6. Secure Seal: Screw the seal in place using the provided or appropriate screws (not included).
7. Test Operation: Open and close the door several times to ensure smooth movement and good sealing.
