This is a Console Server. The Vertiv Avocent ACS8016SAC-400 delivers secure in-band and out-of-band visibility and control to downstream equipment in enterprise data centers, cloud and colocation facilities. It serves as a secure management gateway and single point of entry for critical IT equipment during partial or total data center outages. Serial access, environmental monitoring, and comprehensive activity logs are provided for all connected devices.
