How to Measure Your Sink Correctly

To ensure a proper fit before purchasing, follow these three steps:

1. Measure the Inside Bottom: Use a measuring tape on the flat area at the very inside bottom of your sink basin. Do not measure from wall to wall at the top rim — the top opening is always larger than the basin floor.
2. Confirm Drain Placement: Verify that your sink's drain is perfectly centered — not rear-set, offset to one side, or positioned toward the front. This grid is designed exclusively for centered drain configurations.
3. Check Corner Radius: Confirm your sink has a 3/8" corner radius at the basin corners. A different corner radius will prevent the grid from sitting flat and level.

Your sink's basin floor must be slightly larger than 29-1/2" x 15-9/16" to allow the protective side bumpers to fit without forcing the grid.
