This is a Gefen Ultra HD 600 MHz 1:8 Splitter for HDMI w/ HDR. The device distributes 4K Ultra High Definition media at 4K 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling and HDR support. It handles Ultra HD and DCI/Cinema resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 pixels at 60 frames per second. The splitter supports HDCP 2.2 and legacy HDCP 1.4 for both new and existing components in commercial and residential AV systems.

Maximum Frequency reaches 600 MHz. Highest performance multichannel digital audio includes 7.1 channels of LPCM and HBR formats such as Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X, and DTS-HD Master Audio. Multiple layers of cascading are supported for large video distribution and signage applications. The Long Reach Power feature supplies 5V at 500 mA on pin 18 of HDMI outputs 1 and 2. The unit works with Gefen Syner-G software for EDID and HDCP management, status monitoring, and firmware updates. The enclosure is 1U tall and rack-mountable.
