Installation Guide

1. Safely lift and support the front driver side.
2. Remove wheel, brake caliper (hang with wire), and rotor if needed.
3. Remove the old axle nut (included new nut makes this easier).
4. Separate lower ball joint and/or tie rod end.
5. Pry inner joint out of transmission (catch fluid).
6. Install new Cardone 66-1626HD axle – inner joint snaps in, outer spline slides into hub.
7. Reassemble in reverse order, torque new nut to spec (usually 180-200 ft-lbs).
8. Test drive – enjoy smooth, quiet, vibration-free performance.
