This is a Standby UPS from Eaton that provides battery-supported AC output during brownouts and blackouts. The unit supports entry-level PCs for up to 17 minutes during power failures and includes an HID-compliant USB interface for integration with Windows and Mac OS X power management features.
The Eaton Tripp Lite INTERNET550U model delivers 550VA/300W capacity with 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets. Five outlets provide full battery support and surge suppression while five outlets provide surge suppression only. Single-line telephone suppression protects connected peripherals.
