BSS BLU-100 12x8 Signal Processor with BLU link

This is a BSS Soundweb London BLU-100 12x8 Signal Processor with BLU link. Manufactured by Harman International Industries, Inc under the BSS brand, the unit provides a fixed configuration of 12 inputs and 8 outputs along with configurable signal processing and a high bandwidth, fault tolerant digital audio bus. The open architecture design supports full configuration through HiQnet London Architect using a rich palette of processing and logic objects with a drag and drop method.

The processor includes a low latency, fault tolerant digital audio bus of 48 channels that uses standard Category 5e cabling for distances up to 100m between compatible devices. Fiber media converters extend this distance to over 40km. The BLU-100 integrates with the Soundweb London family and represents channels 1-48 of the larger 256 channel bus when used with BLU-800, BLU-320, BLU-160, BLU-120 and BLU-BOB devices. Analog inputs offer software configurable gain in 6dB steps up to +48dB per channel with software selectable phantom power. Front panel LEDs display phantom power, signal present and clip status without requiring a PC. A bi-directional locate function aids device identification. Twelve control inputs and six logic outputs support GPIO integration.
